The Lakeland Animal Welfare Socity Inc., is a non-profit organization that owns and operates the Lakeland Animal Shelter. The Lakeland Animal Shelter is located at 3551 Hwy. 67 S in Delavan, WI. With the help of 50-75 dedicated volunteers we have a skilled and committed staff that care for over 2,500 homeless animals from the south-eastern Wisconsin area annually. At any given time we house and care for an average of 40-60 dogs and 100-300 cats.
We also employ a State Certified Humane officer for the purpose of animal neglect/cruelty investigations. We also provide animal control services for the entirety of Walworth Cuonty and work closely with the local law enforcement agencies on animal related calls and emergencies.
We are committed to our mission of "enriching the lives of both animals and people throughout our community" and are only able to do so because of the generosity and loyalty of our donors.

The Walworth County Arts Council, established 1968, a not-for-profit service organization advancing the importance and growth of the Arts and cultural activities throughout Walworth County. The Council was established in 1968 through the cooperative efforts of the University of Wisconsin Extension and local citizens to foster significant outlets for creative expression and promotes a better understanding of the value and benefits of the Arts. Today we are an independent non-profit organization providing benefits for all our members, and placing particular significance in promoting the Arts within our schools.
