Winterfest and United States Nationals Snow Sculpting Competition - Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva's Winterfest featuring the US National Snow Sculpting Competition. Music, magic, refreshments and the crowing of the Best Snow Sculpture in America are featured at this great event, head quartered at the beautiful Riviera building at the Lakefront. Sculpting Wednesday through 11:00 am Saturday. Winners announced at 3:00pm at the Riviera Ballroom. Food fun and entertainment 11am to 4pm Sat. and Sunday at the Riviera Ballroom.

 

Winter Carnival at The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva - Lake Geneva

This annual event at The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva includes ski school and ski patrol demonstrations, snowboarding and downhill ski competitions, children's games and snow activities. The celebration concludes with a torch-light parade and a Grand Fireworks display at 8 p.m.

Admission to the Winter Carnival festivities is free. Regular fees apply for snow activities including skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing.

*10:00 am - 12:00 pm Face Painting - Cafeteria
*10:30 am Ski Patrol Demonstration - Chairlift B
*11:00 am Snowboard Slope Style Competition

*11:00 am - 4:00 pm Activities Including: Human Bowling, Sack Toss, Bucky's Buckets, Water Balloon Launch, Paint Ball Gallery, Closest to the Pin & other activities
*12:30 - 2:30 pm Balloon Figure Creation - Cafeteria
*2:00 pm Slalom Races For Skiers And Snowboarders - Chairlift B
Age Categories: 7 & Under * 8 - 12 * 13 - 15 * 16 - 20
21 - 29 * 30 - 49 * 50 & Over
*3:00 pm Toboggan Competition - Snowsports Patrol Teams
*TBA Tug of War (Instructor v Patrol)

Evening Events
*6:00 pm Raffle Drawing - Timbers Bar & Grill
*8:00 pm Torch Light Parade & Fireworks - Chairlift A & B

7:45 pm: Lifts Will Close For Approximately 1 Hour

The ski hill will reopen after the fireworks are over.
