The Eco-Vision Sustainable Learning Center will be housed within the future walls of The Green Leaf Inn, the first net-zero energy eco-hotel in the U.S. The Learning Center was designed to help people learn sustainable living practices both through tours of the inn as well as over the internet, primarily by seeing the inn’s monitoring systems of energy being produced/saved by a wind turbine, multiple types of solar systems that create both heat and electricity, and a geothermal energy system. The Learning Center will host a speaker series throughout the year as well as the Eco-Vision Green Energy Fair at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in July, 2010.
